The first CdTe thin film modules have been finally installed and are functioning reliably. A major step which will be followed by even more: with the commissioning of our 25 MWp and then other 60 MWp production sites we will be switching to mass production and consequently providing even more people with access to the major potential offered by this technology. The aim is to further establish the Cadmiumtelluride (CdTe) thin film technology within the photovoltaics sector and in this way to make a significant contribution towards turning photovoltaics into people’s energy source of the future.
